​Athletics:  Volleyball Intramurals – Peachie Bae’s take on the Turbulence Crew and the Middle-Aged Women play Sutters Six Super Starters

The last tryout for JV Boys Volleyball will take place today from 6-7:30 pm and the team will practice tomorrow 6-7:30pm.

Varsity Girls team will practice from 3-4:30 after school today.

The Varsity Boys and the JV Girls Volleyball team will practice on Thursday (tomorrow) 3-4:30pm.

Wellness Centre:  UBU-QMS meets today. All BIPOC, Neurodivergent and Rainbow Cougars and their friends are all welcome to come to the Wellness Centre at lunch.

Art: The Art room will be open at lunch this week for GRADE 6 students only who are working to complete art projects.

Library:  The March Madness book tournament continues. Take a look at the library bulletin board each week and vote on your favorite book. Voting ballots are available at the Librarian’s desk.

Music:  It’s Wednesday so the music crowd can probably guess what the announcement will be:  Senior Band you have practice today after school.  It ends at 4:30pm.

Tech:  Tech room computers will only be available for grade 7 students who have not completed their work, this is in effect until the end of the term.

PRIDE Passes – Two helpful grade 8 students drawn from the box today, one offered to bring in the pylons after lunch and the other volunteered to help set up for the MADD presentation last week.

Other: Keep bringing in your can tabs. We finish Term 2 this week and we’ll award points for the top collectors. Collections continues until the end of the school year so keep collecting!

Tomorrow is March 21^st, why do I bring that up? Because it’s Downs Syndrome Awareness Day which means we are going to Rock our Socks!!! Wear your funkiest socks tomorrow!
